5 Nov 10 - 10 Days JiuZhaiGou Package tour

Day 8 - Hailuogou (海螺沟)

It was accessible by cable car.

Photos taken while waiting for our turn to board the cable car.

The cable car sit 8 person and it did not stop for you to board. ie, everyone must move in / get out fast. Hmm..scary..

We were lucky? the people in Hailuogou said the past few days, they were unable to view the peak.

Hailuogou is 3,200-4,800 meters above sea level

Oh ya..we rented the special equipment attached to our shoe in order to walk through the snow/ice floor. Different from that day when we wore socks.

Mum and myself bought the sunglasses at 5 RMB each. A lot of my tour mate bought too. The seller said that it was very glaring in Hailuogou cos of the reflection of snow. Hmm..yes..please bring along one if you are coming.

A cableway connects No.3 Campsite with the vista of Grand Glacier Cascade. There were 4 campsite.

Hmm..there were this place where you can go down to the bottom of the Hailuogou. Mum did not dare to go down cos its slippery. I tried and was so scared, there were no side handle to hold on to...when i reached the edge and looked forward/down, it was so scary and felt sudden dizziness...I gave up. Going back was tiring cos its like walking on slope...Wonder what so nice below, worth going?hmm...

The below photo was funny. Taken by the tour guide. He said taken with the big poster, looked as though we were walking / climbing on the mountain.

European style buildings. Looked like those in Switzerland.

Oh ya..after this, we went to hot spring! Shiok...

Must try this! But it was from the cow...Mao niu. The meat was not hard, very nice. I tried similar someday later but it was not as nice.

Lots of persimmon on the trees...can I pick one? My favorite...
