I always love going Bangkok! There are so many food, and places to visit. Not so much of shopping.

I always wanted to explore Ayutthaya and revisit Kanchanaburi. Another place to visit is Khao Yai.

Well, I wished I booked a longer trip.

Anyway, this time, I booked my flight with SCOOT.

SCOOT sucks I felt!

1. Their system sucks. Trying to add baggage but it lead to some error page. Trying to call the company but couldn't get through. Went to the airport and the counter staff looked blur and told us to call the hotline. Posting on facebook asking them to check on their system and they replied that I should have cleared my cache. Hmm...I tried with 3 or 4 device for this. I even tried clearing my cache. Well, so whose problem is that?! Shouldn't they look into their system before giving us advice?!

2. On return flight home, I think they tried to save electricity? It was hot in the cabin!

3. Night flight to Bangkok. We reached Bangkok around midnight! SCOOT doesn't have earlier flight? =( I don't like Don Mueang Airport.

I booked this new hotel, Cacha Hotel from agoda. Cheap. However, there was no fridge in the room.

Breakfast was pathetic We could only choose either scrambled egg/ sunny side up/ egg roll. Sausage/bacon. You have to ask for bread else they won't give. Ok for the price, I could not complain much. The design of the hotel was nice though. The distance was a bit too far from BTS. This trip we used a lot of Uber.

Uber/Grab in Bangkok does not have a fix price unlike Singapore. We paid for the distance travelled like taking cab. Not sure. My friend said theirs was fix rate.

4 May - Went to Ayutthaya.

Trying to figure out how to go Ayutthaya.

The web said need to take bus from Mochit terminal, or take train. Then reach Ayutthaya can take Tuk Tuk but need to bargain. Rate was like 200/250 babt per hour. Cost would be like 1600babt?

Anyway, I felt that it was too troublesome. I booked a tour from Klook instead. Cost us SGD 57 per pax. We went in a group of 5 including us. Well, I think it was better than we figure out how to reach the place and bargain to get around. Our mini van was air-conditioned too.

Anyway, the tour guide was very nice to wait for us. We were late for 15 mins! I will be taking their tour to Khao Yai in Jul 17
