28 Apr 2013 - Lok lok buffet

Never tried "lok lok" before.
Heard this is famous in Malacca?
Heard that in Malacca, they would reuse the satay sauce again and again?

Tried in Singapore! Stated in the menu, "No Reuse Of Soup".
Anyway, the buffet was cheap.
It cost $24.80, include free flow of drinks.
We could choose 2 types of soup.

Some of the stick that we took.
Actually we took quite a lot...

Our soup base, Satay and herbs.

The fridge with the ingredients....Variety quite a lot.
There was fried food also.

The fried food.
There was fried chicken wings fresh from the wok! Nice!
The owner would take the tray and asked the tables if we want it.
The owner was nice, the waitress not bad too!
She told us that we had to cook our uncooked food in the soup before dipping in the satay sauce. Satay sauce might not cook our food though it was hot still.

There were fruits, dessert too.

Overall, though the satay gravy was not the same as real satay sauce, I think I still like the many variety and the price for the buffet.

Address: 大马风味” (Malaysia Local Delights) at 224 Tanjong Katong Road, Singapore 437014

After that, I still went to "ICE CREAM GALLERY" nearby for ice cream!

Well, The "Mao Shan Wang" ice cream was delicious!

The kids loved the chicken rice and finished them all!
