Visit to a colleague who was on hospitalisation leave.

It was nice of her to invite us to her house and she prepared all the good food for us.

There were more food but I did not take a picture as the waiting tired me out =P

I just enjoy the food!



22 Mar 2014 - From the neighbourhood bakery

Mum bought these for my niece and nephew from the neighbourhood bakery.

So many! Crazy!

 

This, mum said she never bought it but the shop person included it. There were 2 of this. Cute anyway.

 

Work

Seriously, I don't think I am suitable for the job that I was assigned to.
Being an in charge, I have to
- answer to a lot of queries,
- attend/host a lot of meeting,
- ensure that the team did the correct things,
- put up a lot of reports,
- Be quick and able to spot mistakes?
- Be quick thinking and able to speak up?

Seriously, I am not the person who likes and can do the above! I wish I could go back to the old times when I just work, go home happily after that and collect my pay on the 12.

21 Mar 2014 - Ban Heng Again

Birthday celebration at Ban Heng at Aranda again.

The food was getting worse but the crowd was still the same.

Friday night and still many people came for the Ala Carte buffet dinner.

 

The Mao Shan Wang durian cake from Emicakes. Cost >$60?

I wished I had real durian instead with the price.

The cake was small...

Taken from one of them who posted the photos in facebook: Work can really take it's toll on you. Especially when our job scope is more emotionally draining vs. being physically exhausting. It's easy to give up, or take the short route out. However, good results don't come easy, and there's no shortcuts in life. So big hug to these group of ordinary women who go beyond their miles and give their all in order to become extraordinary officers. They bring back sanity to reality. I guess that's what team works all about.

There is always a place in Changi for food.

We found this restaurant in the Changi Golf club.

Saw the banner and we drove in asking if we could park in the club.

Yes it is possible if we going to have our dinner there.



 

Well, was quite hungry after a hard day work which I didn't know what I was doing whole day.

 

The people prefer to have their meals outside the restaurant without aircon I think.

We had the restaurant all by ourselves while others had their meal at non aircon area.

 

It would be good to come here for gathering? Not much customer and I personally find the food is actually quite good.

 

Milk cabbage with bacon, $12

 

Sambal Sotong, $18.

I personally find that this is the not so nice dishes among all.

A bit hard for the Sotong.

The new home going to be ready soon I think?

It was opposite the sport recreation centre!

Cool...big swimming pool. Swimming pool with shelter.

Not much variety for the food.

 

The sports and recreation centre was actually very busy but the restaurant was.........

 

Well, not much variety and the food not really nice.

 

No matter how I tried, the ice cream turns out blur.

 

Hmm..do you think they will soon remove the old basketball court?

I think so...
