Hmm, I hate skiing!

I tried cross country ski and I fall like hell.

Maybe I should learn proper skiing here but too bad I don't want to learn alone.

Gubei Watertown, Simatai Great Wall

Gubei Watertown(the Northern Ancient Water Town) also known as Northern of Wuzhen. With a history of thousand years, it possesses an old-fashioned simplicity, elegance that looks remarkable. The Northern Ancient Water Town is similar to Wuzhen; it had waters running around the town and rows of the old houses during the republic of China. Besides, there are also river channels that are scattered between streets; houses near the river are bathed in sunlight. When night falls, it will present a tranquil and cosy atmosphere. Based on the 5 ancient villages, most of the buildings are reconstructed into courtyard so as to preserve the style of the courtyard. Some of the attractions are the Republic of China Street, Water Street, Wonglong Fort Folk Cultural, Tanghe Ancient Castle, Food & B&B Accommodation and The Old Garrison Town.
 

Took the cable car to Simatai Great Wall, the original appearance of it is still preserved and shows you the truly historical atmosphere, it ranked the first in the list of 'World's Top 25 Scenery' by the Times newspaper in 2012

Started walking up the stairs.

We were too rush! We reached the great wall around 4pm and we had to go back to the cable car by 4.30pm. I did not have time to explore. Asked my tour mate help to take photos for me as mum did not walk up with me. Then I headed back to the cable car. It was scary actually, it snowed heavily. I scared that I might slipped and fall..

Exploring the Gubei Watertown. Nothing much actually. Said to have shops etc, it was like ghost town. We did not see many shops. Hard to find food also. We were told there was a food street. Hmm....I thought the food street would sell many food. But don't expect too much. It was a long walk back to our hotel.

We were told that our hotel was the best in this watertown...
