31 Aug 2013 - Night festival 2013

It was nice of Boon Khee to ask us out for night festival.
We had no experience of what it was.
Saw the brochure, seems like there was lots of activities going around at night near the museum.

We went.
Though I was tired after attending the morning wedding and travelling home by bus after the wedding.

We were waiting for this concert to start.
Name: 九歌
I tried searching from the web to see what it was about, but could not find.
I wanted to search what performance I will be expecting.

Well, started with some Chinese opera, some dance which I did not understand.
Some girls performing in the dance running about, not sure what was the story behind their dance.
I think I was not able to appreciate these as I did not understand and I found the performance bored.
Went off early instead. Heard the beginning was quite bored? The later part of the performance would be better?

It was an experience since we did not see night festival before.

31 Aug 2013 - A Church Wedding to remember

Ma'am Caroline had invited me for her wedding.
This was my second time attending a church wedding.
I like this church feel.
The wedding I attended previously was conducted in a church which looked more like a function room.

Colin and his father.

Entrance of the bride.

The active kid...

I caught one with him smiling but it was blurred =(

His favourite key chain..

While waiting to take photo with the bride and groom.

Colin loved this uncle! wanted him to carry him!

Ma'am's favourite cartoon character.

Taken by Mr Nizaar....fast shot..and we doubt his skills..

Thanks for saying I looked younger each day =D

Nice church but not so easily accessible.

Walked over to Serangoon Garden Way for drinks.
Could not find the "Dessert bowl" shop.
Went to Bakerzin instead.

Taken from Joyce's handphone.

28 Aug 2013 - lunch at Crystal Jade

Lunch at Crystal Jade Toa Payoh.
Loved the food but we ordered too much.

This taste alike peanut noodle was actually quite nice.

The yam pastry was too filling for me.

18 Aug 2013 一同享乐

Went to Changi City Point for dinner.
Wanted to try the food at Tung Lok.
Opened the menu and saw expensive Chinese food!
Beautifully displayed.

The food was really nice!
But as this was my 2nd round of dinner, did not order much.

Pan-fried French Foie Gras and Smoked Duck
with Crispy Beancurd Skin served with Pancake

Maybe next time should try the set meals instead.
