Itinerary from the agency as follows:
D1, August 10th - pickup from Surabaya Airport upon arrival. After meet, direct trip to Mt.Ijen area 7 hour drive, stop for lunch on the way .You will be past by tropical rain forest, coffee plantation .After check in to homestay, free program
D2, August 11st - wakeup call at 00.30am, then at 1am checkout homestay. Breakfast in box and start the trip to the foot of Mt.Ijen ( start point ) 1 hour drive, after permit process at 2am start hiking with the local guide 2 hour up ,when you are on the top you can walk down to the crater to see the amazing BLUE FLAME , THE GREEN LAKE , and amazing scenery ,also you can see how the sulfur worker take the sulfur from the crater ,after enjoyed at 7am you have to walk down back to the car at 8am continue trip to Mt.Bromo 4 hour drive stop lunch on the way. After check in hotel free program.
D3, August 12nd Wakeup call at 00.30am , at 1am start trip by jeep 4x4 to shoot the milkyway at view point and Enjoy the sunrise , the best view , after sunrise continue trip to Mt.Bromo past the sand sea , after the jeep stop you can continue trip by horse riding or by walk to foot of Mt.Bromo then hiking 250 step, when you are on the top you can walk around to enjoy the amazing volcano. After enjoy back to the jeep continue trip to visit beautiful SAVANA , WHISPRING SAND , after enjoyed, back to hotel to take your breakfast, after breakfast, at 10am checkout hotel and continue trip to MADAKARIPURA WATERFALL is the amazing waterfall at Mt.Bromo area 1 hour drive , when you reach there you have to walk go in to the forest 30 minute walking , then you can enjoy the amazing waterfall , after enjoy at 2pm back to the car continue trip to Surabaya centre after check in hotel free programe .
D4, August 13rd After breakfast at 7am checkout hotel transfer to Surabaya airport to catch your flight and the end of the tour .
Went to Mount Ijen, and it was raining. It was getting heavier and heavier. Believe me. the walk up to Mount Ijen was tough for me. When we finally reached the top and going down to the crater, it was heavy rain and windy. We gave up going to the crater. We never got to see the blue flame and walked the slippery road down back to our car. Not able to wash up and we had to go for to our next attraction. All wet and dirty.
MADAKARIPURA WATERFALL must go! Super nice! at the same time, I washed my dirty shoes and pants by walking in the water. MUST GO. the waterfall was super nice.
Mount Bromo sunrise. We didn't get to see the milkyway. Guess we were too late. We waited for sunrise. We were so cold and I really shivered.
Mount Bromo was easier trip. We did not have to walk, we just sit in the Jeep and we got to the top. I thought another torture walk up like Mount Ijen. Lucky.
