17 Oct 11 - Taiwan Trip

Took metro to Shilin station and took Bus stated "red 5" to Yangminshan, last station.

We walked....and walked.....

Lunch.....猪血汤. Not nice...

We walked and walked...and reached the waterfall....Not many people, saw 1 uncle soaking his leg in...he told us which part was better and non slippery. There was 2 gal and one of them slipped and dropped her handphone..we didn't see that, the uncle told us..

Wore the blouse, NT390 bought in Wufenpu, jacket, NT390 bought in Ximending and the stretch jeans , NT390 bought in Ximending also....like the jacket...the blouse and jeans made me looked fat

We did not walk all of Yangmingshan...went back to shilin around 3-4pm. Have a break at some dessert shop

Then, we followed the sign and walked to Shilin night market. Though it was quite early but the shops were already opened. There were many clothing shops here too..I think it was better than the Wufenpu..don't know why..I just felt that I got nothing to buy in Wufenpu.

Found this restaurant selling 麻辣鸭血汤 and curry 鸭血汤. You cannot find this in Singapore. Last time, used to sell but now not. It was very nice and cheap with rice served but we didn't eat the rice! You can make your own sauce. Anyway, must be good?cos many customer. It was served in steamboat and cost NT65 if I remember correctly.

After eating that, we got no space to input any more food =(

I will sure visit shilin next time and skip Wufenpu!

Bought another stretch jeans with mum at NT350, A short at NT290, 3 pairs of pumps at NT200 each, more expensive than Taichung.

Oh..we walked and walked and realised that the nearest Metro was actually JianTan Metro. So stop at this metro station next time.

I am not making entry on 18 Oct 11 cos I did not take any photos. Went to Taipei Main station, exit K to buy our Sun biscuit as well as Pineapple tart. There, bought another jacket, NT290 and a pair of sandals, NT190. The Metro station, there were a whole stretch of underground shopping. Went to exit Y intitally, there were Z also which we didn't go.

16 Oct 11 - Taiwan Trip

Wore the NT290 top which I bought the day before. Dislike it...

Not sure where to go today, went out around 10 plus am. Saw one of the shop at Ximending opened and went in. Bought 3 pairs of stretch jeans like pants for NT 390 each and a jacket for NT 390 also. Left it at the shop, thought to collect it when we came back in the evening. TERRIBLE! We forgot where the shop was but lucky managed to find it! Then mum got lost! Lucky I was able to contact her via handphone! Lucky I brought it with me!

Ok back to where we went, thought we could visit taipei's zoo? Took their metro to the Taipei Zoo stop. Walked to the The Maokong Gondola (貓空纜車). There were many people waiting for the ride, maybe cos it was sunday.

The distance for the gondola ride was quite long! This is the longest gondola I had ever taken. 4km, like never ending and bored.

Reached the last Maokong station, NT 50 using the card bought from the metro station. Realised that there was actually nothing to see...hmm....Unless maybe you want to come here for tea? Don't know.

Did not go to zoo...

We left the place around 3pm and went to Houshanpi metro station to Wufenpu. Things were quite ex? Not sure maybe cos we already bought few pants in the morning...Bought a blouse for NT390. Nothing much for me and mum there so we went back Ximending.

Bought Naruko face and eye cream at watson. Singapore selling very ex, it was cheaper here.

Bought bitter gourd juice at NT 35, mum bought porridge, a big bowl with lots prawns, etc for quite cheap.

15 Oct 11 - Taiwan Trip

Took the Sun Moon Lake bus to travel around the place.
It would be cheaper to take the NT80 ticket for unlimited bus ride.
I thought we were not going to all places so we did not buy and just 2-3 rides cost us more than NT80

Hmm..did i mention?I went to Sun Moon Lake before and this time and I felt that it was not as nice as what I heard.....

水社遊客中心 - 文武廟 - 玄光寺

Bought this famous Ah po tea egg at 玄光寺's pier. NT25 each? can't remember. Wow..if this is so..quite ex? SGD 1 plus...

Then we took a Guoguang bus at around 1.20pm to to Taipei Main station. Cost around NT 350? Can't remember the price...I should have record it..At taipei main station, we took a cab to Lilai hotel cost us around NT 75.

Then, walked around Ximending. Bought 2 boxes of Beauty Diary mask for NT399, 1 Skin79 Rose BB cream which only sold in Taiwan, 2 tops at 100 NT and 290NT...

Bought dinner! Ah Zhong Mee Sua at NT45 for small bowl, smelly tou fu...NT35

Guoguang bus from 水社遊客中心, Buy ticket from there, NT350, 4 hours bus journey to Taipei Main Station.
