Batam Trip - 23 - 25 Jan 2015

Went for a 3 days 2 night Batam Trip.

Depart on Friday evening. Did not book the ferry ride online, we could actually purchase from the ferry terminal at Vivo. We bought our 6.30pm ferry tickets from BatamFast at level 2.



 

Took a cab to our hotel, Gideon Hotel.

Stupid me, thought of having big room and spent more money to book a Suite room which cost around SGD 190+. Cannot remember exact. If normal room, I think only SGD 45+?

 

 

Went out for dinner. Chinese Dim Sum place at Zhen Bao.

Mango seafood or what. Cannot remember exact name. Not nice! The mango was sour! Taste not macth

Our hotel is actually very near Batam Centre Square. It was just across the street!

There were many food stall nearby too!

 

Took a cab to Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre.

Hmm..The cab was actually any car?! No taxi sign on the vehicle. It was like normal vehicle but the person just ask if we want to take a cab!

 

Spa at Sakura, just opposite from the Nagoya hill.

We took 2 hours mixed spa and ear candle.

Cost us around 800,000

 

Next took a cab to City Walk.

Nothing there!

 

Lunch at some place at Batam Centre Square.

Must try this, Avocado milo

22 Jan 2015 - Cross Country

In the committee for reception for the Cross Country.

Joining the run looked interesting, however, I probably won't go.

This year Cross Country at Punggol Waterway, had a hard time locating the place.

Nearest LRT, Nibong to our start point, near the carpark.

But it was not indicated anyway in the google map and so I chose to trust the google map.

Ended up walking a long way.

 

We used selfie again, with the flip up screen and 3 sec photoshoot.

 

Ok, I am the one pressing the shoot button..

this turned out blurred..

 

And this turned out my face super big..and I hate it..disgusted.

 

Setting timer to get all of the reception team in.

Actually not necessary cos we got other committee member around.
