6 Jan 11 - Korea Trip Day 2

An-nyung-ha-se-yo!

Above greeting in Korean! Greetings for "Hello", Good Morning/afternoon/evening.
According to tour guide the meaning of this sentence was actually "Have you sleep peacefully yesterday night?" Something like that cos of war long time ago. So people greet each other asking whether they have slept peacefully without being disturbed.

Gahm-sah-hahm-ni-da.

Above meant "Thank You"

Day 2 - Let's go Ski!

We stayed at the ski resort, so we could just walk over to the skiing place.

Tour guide brought us to the top of the ski place for photograph. It was not possible for us to ski down from there...

We rented the jacket and pants for skiing the night before. Mum color combination was yellow and red and she said she looked like those construction worker.

The ski jacket was really good. Won't feel cold with it.

Me and niece rented our shoe. We walked like robot in the shoe, it was so difficult cos we were not able to move our ankle. We went for our briefing. The instructor taught us how to stop, etc and I noticed he MIA after awhile, or was it that we were busy trying out? Hmm..anyway, I fall twice. 1st, when I started to move..and it slide awhile and I fall. 2nd, someone bang into me. Hmm...haha..it was quite fun actually, learning new things. Well, tour guide said korean usually stayed in the ski resort for a week. Even the kids know how to ski...so....yes, their school holiday....yes a lot of kids lor..

Our ski resort

Next - Sightseeing Mt Sorak National Park + Shinheungsa temple

We did not walk our way to the top cos it was slippery so we took photos around the area.

Wishes on the roof..

Light up your wishes..

ok, below our meals...

Buffet breakfast.

Our lunch at the ski resort. The burger was quite nice. Ok, anyway, they made the fries, burger only when we made our order, so...it was quite a long wait..

Our dinner, cuttlefish and bulgogi dinner.

Tour guide said he got one customer from malaysia asking for more sotong from the waiter/waitress in the restaurant and nobody bother to attend to him. Reason, Sotong sound like "cow shit" in korean. Nobody would serve shit.

Lastly, my supper?
Heard from my niece, must try their banana yoghurt milk? Hmm..
Even with the cold weather, I still wanted to try their ice cream..
