12 Nov 2013 - London (London Bridge, Tower Bridge), Bath

Breakfast at Golden Strand is around the same as Saba hotel except that there was no baked bean. However, baked beans appeared the next day.

It was raining when we went out of hotel. Terrible hotel and they gave us 3rd floor and we had to climb lots of stairs. It's so hard to carry the luggage up!

Went to London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Rain stopped at 10 am as forecasted.

London Bridge.
Since young this song was so popular.
London Bridge is falling down..falling down...
Hmm...
Ever wonder what bridge is that?
Now I showing you...
It was actually quite a busy bridge...
Seems like people going work have to walk here?
So only 2 of us were seen relax, taking photos.

Less people here..

Reached the Paddington station early. 1030hrs and we were there. Waited till around 1120hrs, and we were told to board the train at platform 3. Our train schedule was 1130hrs. It was so rush! We were running to our cabin B! The end of train was cabin T? And the train departed quite fast. No wonder everyone walked so fast and some running like us.

We collected our tickets from these machine. We booked online before going to London.
Tickets become more and more expensive. Advise to book online for some of the places. Checked before booking.

Checked the platform for boarding.

Bath was a very nice place! Initially we went the other side of the train station which did not look right. The road was not shown in the map that I prepared. However, the scenery at this side was nice too! Ok, provided it was not raining else everything would be gray.

The blue sky was nice. It had a nice shopping area near the Bath Abbey as well.

↓ My favourite Marks and Spenser shops
I wished I could bring back all the chocolates, potato chips and biscuits
It was cheap also

↓ Pulteney Bridge

We actually had trouble finding the Pulteney Bridge.
There was this uncle, he saw us browsing at the map and asked if we need help.
He then brought us to where we wanted to go. He briefed us about the places and show us the best way to view the bridge. Secret place known by local. Very nice of him!
Yes, beautiful scenery!

Wanted to buy Clark shoe. My working shoe got a hole which I didn't realise at all till Chong told me. Almost bought a Clark boots which cost 89.9 pounds! We tried for almost an hour in the shop! Well, funny thing was, the girl did not want to let us have the new piece! I tried size 6. She brought out the other piece of the display set and let me try them both.  Ie. Display piece left foot, she brought the right and let me tried. She said there was no new piece. Ie I had to buy the display set plus right foot new. Hmm I did not buy! So expensive and I had to have the piece where people tried many times and the Right foot was actually lose. The sales was lazy? We went to other Clark shops later in other area and they gave us new piece!

Went back to hotel. Did not had dinner at Bath as we tried the shoe till 5.30pm and have to take the train at 6.13pm

Reached hotel, tired. Bought dinner from the Chinese food shop opposite Saba Hotel.  Bought seafood rice noodle which is actually Fried seafood bee hoon. Tasted not bad with lots of pepper. Cost 4.90 pounds. My friend ate Maggie.  She can actually go without eating.
