26 Dec 10 - Hi Tea Buffet @ Zhou's Kitchen

Went to Zhou's kitchen, Square 2 for high tea. In the website, it was stated, high tea started at 3pm but when we reached there, there was a sign saying that high tea started at 2.45pm. Hmm...Anyway, the 15 mins different did not affect us.

Huizhen.

Hmm, ok, I wanted to comment about this place. The spot light above us made us warm. We would wish that they could improve their air con system.

Another thing, when dishes were served, the waitress could let us know the name of the dishes served. They just placed the dishes and we were trying to figure out what we had eaten.  There was one dish, soup I think, there was a strand of "eye lashes" kind of substance in our soup. When we checked with the waitress, she could tell us that the ingredient of the soup consist of "fa chai". BUT WE ONLY SAW 1 STRAND?!!!AND IT DID NOT LOOK LIKE FA CHAI LOR!

Ok, below, dishes, after we trying to figure out what were they.

Another thing, some of the dishes which we did not order, like carrot cake, was served to us and also some of the dishes we ordered ended up in other table I think, cos they were not served to us. When I checked with the waitress, after listening to what I told her, she just walked off and the dishes that were not served still did not turn up. Sigh...What kind of service was this? Anyway, we were full so we also hope they did not serve them.

There were no drink served, I was referring to ice water/warm water. Ice water was served in bottles and cost $1/btl. Warm water cost $0.30.

Actually, dim sum high tea but not much dim sum variety and I wished for more dessert.

Total cost around $60 plus for the three of us, the price was reasonable, not ex, however, I find the food average.
