Had our breakfast at Kiwi Paka Waitomo backpacker before heading to Rotorua.
Big breakfast cost NZ 17, Mochachino cost NZ 4, choice of tall/ short. Short cost NZ 3.50 so we ordered bigger size since only NZ 0.50 difference.
Took Great sight bus booked from intercity from waitomo caves to Rotorua. This bus actually stopped for people who wished to tour Waitomo caves. ie, we waited for the people to complete their tour and board the bus.
On bus, we met some korean gal whom talked to us. They said they would be going to Singapore for 4 to 5 days.
Reach rotorua and our backpackers was just beside I-site. Easy to locate
Walking to Kuirau Park
There were a "smoke" all around and the air smelt like sulphur when we stepped into Rotorua. Even our room smelt of that. Hot spring available anywhere in Rotorua? But not our backpacker.
Really wondering, how nice to stay here. Hot spring available and soaking in that everyday?
