Well, we had some funny encounter at the airport. There's this uncle who queued after us asked us strange questions. Its not that strange actually, it was his behaviour after that which made us felt uncomfortable. He asked how long are we booked to stay in taiwan. He asked as though the duration had to be purchased. Nevermind, we told him we could stay 1 month in taiwan. Than he told us he bought the ticket for $500 plus.
We walked off after finishing our check in. After that, we met him again and he said we followed him....
When we were happily killing our time by taking photos, he purposely walked in front of my mum and asked whether she wanted him to take a photo of us.
Prayed......cos he queued after us...the chances of him siting beside us is.......prayed..he won't sit next to us..
This uncle again....
His shaver, toothpaste, water, etc, were thrown as these were not allowed on plane.
He kept scolding and located a seat at the boarding area beside us and sat down. There were so many seats available lor..
When we boarded the plane, he kept scolding and spat everywhere while we walked to the plane...
Lucky...very lucky...he did not sit next to us! He is crazy! He faced my mum and said " Lao po, i want to divorce you!" We ignored him.
Only the Freego bus would bring us to our respective hotel around Ximending. Well, easily located the Freego counter, turn left upon exit. I wanted to say, its ok to go to hotel from the airport, the bus was quite nice and new. I booked return ticket, on return to airport, we had to change the bus at some of their "station", the bus was very lousy. The other bus which brought us to the airport was not as nice! We were worried also cos the bus fetched us from the hotel 20 mins late and it still had to send other passengers to their hotel from airport.
The hotel we stayed was Lilai hotel booked from Agoda. Its the cheapest rate! Cost $59 per night. Normal room rate was $56 and I chose Business Suite which cost $3 more. Its near Ximending via walking distance.
Dinner at this "Duck shop" in the below photos at Ximending. Ok. we did not know how and what to order. Thus, the waiter said what, we ordered what. I think, ordered only the Bee hoon will do. The duck meat was quite a lot for 2 of us. The bee hoon soup was quite tasty and i think it cost 60 Twd.
