Crab in a Bag

Went to this Crab in a Bag restaurant at East Coast.
No idea what it was but heard my malay friend went and said it was nice.
Hmm, we did not know where to go, we went to East Coast, saw this and I wanted to try.

Went into the restaurant, we were greeted. Not sure what their greetings about.
We saw the menu, initially I thought how this seafood was being cooked. I saw people eating like chunk of seafood, so I thought, they cooked all seafood together?

I was wrong, we could order different seafood and decided how they should be cooked, for example, crab with salted egg, or crab with curry? Well, we wanted crab in salted egg, but the waiter tried explaining that they fried the crab in order to cook the dishes and our crab would turn out less meat. Hmm, then how the Chinese restaurant cooked the salted egg crab and tasted so nice? Hmm....we decided to let the waiter decided on how our seafood to be cooked. We ordered big crab, tiger prawns and squid.

We got curry crab, salted egg prawns and butter garlic squid. The curry crab was not bad, salted egg prawn acceptable, but the squid was tasteless..I would prefer to eat in a Chinese Restaurant where all these seafood would be more tasty and in plate. I think that using the plastic bag holding our seafood dishes were not environmental friendly.

We spent $147 in total. I asked him if he will eat at the restaurant again and he said yes. Hmm..well for the service, yes, he said. Yes, the service was not bad. When they checked with us on our food, we actually told them that the squid was tasteless, they actually brought the squid back to the kitchen and recook for us but it came back still the same. They even introduced their spice rice mixed with our butter garlic sauce from the squid and it actually tasted not bad.
