Malay Engagement

Attending a Malay Engagement today.

Now then I realized that Malay engagement was so formal.

They set some place for both party to discuss and come to some agreement?

When to get marry, endowment, etc.

Not sure.

They had to prepare gift for exchange.

We were waiting for the fiancée to appear but then someone told us that the fiancée will not appear, not necessary to appear only the representative will do.

Then I also realized that one of the representative will put on the engagement ring on the female.

Interesting! Cos totally different from the Chinese!

Then they also pray together..
