16 Sep 2012 - Goldcoast, Dreamworld

Took a cab outside our hotel to the airport. Our domestic flight back to Goldcoast, 0605hrs. Early in the morning again. Not sure how much it cost for our cab but we reached the airport.

Then we took bus 702 to our hotel in Goldcoast.

We were early to the hotel. Raffles Royale Hotel, 69 Ferny Avenue. When we reached, the reception was not even opened. We had to wait outside the building for the reception to be opened. We waited till 9am I think.

This apartment we booked, was not as nice as compared to the apartment we booked previously. It was smaller. It was more expensive than the previous apartment.

Then we took bus TX2 to Dreamworld. In goldcoast, it was more convenient to access places by bus. Not to say those tracking places that we had to book a day tour. We saw that Dreamworld had more people queueing than Movieworld. I would like to visit both but we didn't.

Lucky we purchased the ticket online and we avoided the long queue.

I would love to play this ride but it seem too scary.

The boat ride.

The animal area. Not much to see.

Did not go for this in the end but we went to another ride. Went to the Tower of terror II. I did not know it was so scary. We went into something like a cave to queue up. the queue was long. I thought it was somthing like "Mummy" ride in Singapore Universal Studio but i was wrong. Singapore's theme park ride was really NOTHING!!!! I scared the hell out of my life and I saw Chong's hair in front of her at 90 degree when the thing moved very fast backward.

"An eerie silence lasts for just milliseconds before the car blasts backwards rocketing guests out of a 206m tunnel at rapid speed hitting up to 161 km/h in seven seconds flat. Riders soar 100m into the atmosphere dangling for several seconds of stomach-churning weightlessness at its peak before plummeting back to earth…only this time it’s face first. Hold on tight and brace for collision because the ultra narrow tunnel appears impossibly small for re-entry."

We were so tired from the early morning flight. We went back early did not try the rest of the ride.
Took dinner at some taiwanese restaurant. The food was not bad.
