Bought ticket from the vending machine for our hotel breakfast, cost 1000 yen.

Not recommended. It was not a buffet breakfast. We chose either western style or Japanese style. I tried to ask for toast bread and the person gave the bread unwillingly. Mainly due to too much people waiting to get their food from the counter. Yes, we had to queue up for the food and the person will serve us our tray.

 

Already purchase bus ticket from KANAZAWA to Shirakawa-go the day before, so we just went to the bus stop where we suppose to board our bus.

Round trip bus ticket cost 3290 yen
Note, we do not need whole day to complete the small town. We approached the bus purchase counter and asked to change our return bus to an earlier timing and we managed to. We did the same for Kawaguchiko, manage to change to earlier timing for the bus. Not bad actually.

 

Many similar souvenir shop in Shirakawa-go. 

 

While we walked around, we heard siren. Several times. We wonder what was the siren about.

Was it earthquake? The people around did not seem affect.

Later on, we found out from the web that it was a fire alarm. The houses can easily catch fire so the siren was to let the people know somewhere, there was a fire.

 

Cute little charm. Different color brought good luck to different thing.

 

Not a good month to visit Japan, raining almost everyday.

No blue sky, have to carry umbrella..

Tourist walked pass, and when they took photo of them, they would all pose!

 

I walked back to the village alone as I saw a bit of blue sky. Chong was siting at the rest station. Asked for some ang moh tourist to help me take a photo and it turned out not bad as compare to the rest.

 

Back to Kanazawa. Dinner at shopping centre again.
