Went to Shinjuku Express Bus Terminal to board our bus to Kawaguchiko. Cost 1750 yen. We bought round trip which was cheaper.
Kawaguchiko Station.
We reached around 10am and check in could only be done at 3pm. We had to walk to our hotel which was quite far. If it was the check in time, we could actually ask the hotel to pick us up at Kawaguchiko station.
We walked back to the station to purchase a 2 day pass in Kawaguchiko. Cost us 1200 yen.
Took the bus ride to 天上山公園 (Tenjosan Park Kachikachi-yama Ropeway)
We were lucky as this Ropeway was closed on the 13 Apr 2015 for maintenance. Hmm..not sure we were lucky or...as there was actually nothing much to see up there. Just a view of Mount Fuji from high place.

Carried on with the bus tour using the 2 day pass. We stopped at the viewing point shown on the map. Could not see the reflection of mount Fuji. Actually we were considered lucky as we still could see the Mount Fuji. The next day, it was raining and we could not see anything at all.
Kawaguchiko Music Forest (河口湖オルゴールの森)
Ticket cost 1300yen.
Quite expensive. If you have 10 person in a group, it would be cheaper. Or, get a brochure at the alighting point and I think it was a 100 yen off.
Music castle. Read the brochure for the performance timing. Ie, the castle still start to operate only at certain timing. The small figurine will start to move, inside the castle, the ballroom figurine will start to dance.
There were many display and also there was a timing where they will start these display and they will start to perform. Music box, something like that. Interesting!
This bear, the person will wind the box, and it will start to blow out bubble with the music.
Another performance for the big music box. There was a person who will sing with the music being played.
This was the most interesting "Music box" I felt.
The figure will pour the wine, there was liquid coming out from the bottle! The figurine will drink from the cup, you will see the empty cup after the figurine drank it. From my understanding, there was "tube" somewhere and the water will run through the body back to the wine bottle.
The figurine would also has expression that it enjoyed the wine!
The person who made this was very good!
But I would feel scare if I had this in my house.
Back to the bus ride..to...not sure where.
We just alight when we saw many sakura.
Below taken on 13 Apr 2015. Boring day as it was raining throughout. Nothing to see when we took the bus to another route, Lake Saiko. We just sat in the bus and let it went one round and back to station. It was so cold! Temperature 3.9!

Eating ice cream on a cold day....made me shivered and cold throughout!
