Booked by Sis.

Wore the dress I made using Polyester cloth, $2, Lousy material.

Previously saw some gal wearing a top with this cloth so I bought..Hmm..its quite transparent and I have to make lining?okok not lining...lucky mum got this lining skirt.

Wore it with the ribbon belt i bought from Bangkok! hmm..I am just too fat ba..hahha...

I think i looked like "sponge bob" in the photo..Square!

Reached the chalet and asked sis and mum out nearby for phototaking..

Hmm..Just for Fun...

My photo was taken by sis. I am just too fat. Looked at most of my photos. I was asked to open my arm cos if not I will have a fat arm in the photo =(

Specially wanted to take photo with our chalet room door cos she bought 4D on this number.

Sis said I looked so old fashioned with the pose....

Trying to take artistic photo...eh...what you think?

Then whole family went to Ban Heng for ala carte buffet dinner.

Dad, mum, weihong, weihao, sis family!

Its good to bring Weihao! He really can eat! 4 fishes...ducks, chicken...Actually we ordered more than what was posted here..Did not manage to take all!

Hmm..We ordered for >11 dishes in our 1st order! The waitress brought all the dishes to us and we really trying hard to clear the plate fast! Sucks who knows they served all...Previously, they took long to serve our food thats why we ordered all in 1st order. Anyway..this time we enjoyed the dinner, especially when dad came! He hardly joined us for dinner and he made noise when we wanted to go for buffet instead of BBQ.

Total cost :$205 for 7 adults and 1 kid. Violet was free.

17 Jul 11 - Sewing niece a dress

Room packing.
Found some unwanted clothing.
Not sure whether its from sis or me.
Not sure who bought that.
Looks like a bathrobe?
anyway, nobody would want to wear that...and so..I cut it!

Not sure niece size, so took 1 of her t shirt and copied the shape.
Mum really good! Asked her..than how do i know how to draw her back??
She said..draw on the same paper..just like drawing a top...and it looked like this.

Ok...the dress...with flaws. Haha..I started this in the evening and rushed to end it before mum and dad going to bed. so......

1st flaw....the lace..hahah..I ironed it..and its too hot..a bit of it melted..

2nd flaws...the lace...suppose to gather it so it won't eh..how to describe?hmm..mum told me that after i had sew and happily cut the length..

3rd...the gather of the skirt..hahhahaa..cos I am in a rush...the gather on the left was lesser than the right...SHIT.

Lazy to amend the flaws...told mum to do that...doubt she will..anyway..don't know whether niece can wear...

Dress 6

Finally went to dressmaking today.
After skipping for 3 lessons.
Tues class was better than Sat cos there were lesser people or rather lesser newcomers.
At least teacher got time to attend to me..

Well, the new dress I would be making is....

Well, not intend to make it to be so sexy...haha...

so ...its not so low and not so bare..and its so complicated...sigh..

after teacher amended my draft, I just stare at the paper...not sure how..

Anyway, making this dress for my nephew's wedding in Sep.

Btw, check out this place for fabric. Saw my classmates red polka dot fabric, different from those polka dot i bought from Chinatown...hers was like better?how to describe?

26 Jun 11 - When lazy people sew....

Made 2 shopping bags..to be brought to BKK..
Actually intend to make 1...but saw that I had extra balance cloth from my dress..so....made 2..
Didn't intend to post on blog...cos these bags were too ugly! No lining also..
Maybe..not able to see how ugly they were clearly here..but...they were just ugly.

1. Did not really measure. Just cut and sew the edge?

2. Mum's sewing machine worked well at first..then.........You see the lines...below and you will know...

3. Do not have a serger...so....I fold the edge and sew...

4. Afraid the bag might give way.....

Dress No. 3

My dress no. 3. Saw this dress from some online shopping website. It is similar to the dress I bought and like. Hmm..hope I will wear this dress no. 3 after making. I am going to make it in Black and also using the blue flower cloth I bought from Arab street. Blue flower cloth is less than 3 metres and after cutting out the below, I still have balance. Hmm..maybe for sleeveless dress, 2.5m  is enough?
