So lucky to have free tickets for Sister Act theatres show!

From his cousin, I got to enjoy the show.

We got seats that were quite in front too!

The song was nice and the show was quite funny.

The props for the show were around the same.

The show was a bit funny.

I wished there were subtitle so I do not have to listen so hard to figure out what they were singing.

Ok, I was so tired, I almost fall asleep.

Anyway, the person who took the photo for us were quite fierce.

Cinderella

Tickets bought from workplace.

Not that cheap.

I should have bought from the Sistic with 20% discount rather than workplace.

Ticket for staff was better, however I brought him along and ticket become more ex as his ticket was normal price.

 

The show was not bad. Props were little less.

Cinderella and prince looked short. Haha..When I asked him why Cinderella so short and he said she never grow up yet.

 

There was technical fault..so funny...it was just like computer got hang.

2 Mar 2014 - My Fair Lady

Went to another musical theatre show at Marina Bay Sand. The car park was a problem as it was IT show and it was packed with cars, hard to find a lot. Anyway, we reached around 7pm to collect the tickets from my colleague. We had discounted tickets for the staff, I think it was half price? We got ourselves entrance to Door L, Row G, seat 18 and 19. Yup..this time was seated at the upper rows. However, I found it still ok, We could still see the stage alright and whole view of it actually.

The show.......lots of talking and talking.....

The storyline was simple.....as below taken from the web.

Didn't really enjoy the show as it was all the while talking and talking...

Maybe I need subtitle so that I could understand the show better? =P

The props were basically showing the professor's home most of the time, nothing fantastic.

Ok, maybe I was comparing it to the "Phantom of the Opera". The Phantom of the Opera was really good! They sang very well and I love the show!

 

Henry Higgins, a Professor of Phonetics, encounters Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl, one cold March night at Covent Garden market. He declares to his friend Colonel Pickering that in three months he could transform Eliza into a duchess.

 

Over the course of several months Eliza, who moves into the Higgins household, is put through a gruelling course of phonetics and elocution lessons by Higgins. Eliza's moment of triumph comes at the Embassy Ball. She is beautiful, elegant and well-spoken and proves to be an enormous success particularly with the young gentleman Freddy Eynsford-Hill who falls desperately in love with her.

After the ball Eliza falls into despondency as she sees Higgins celebrating his triumph in passing Eliza off as a duchess, showing little consideration for her feelings. Unnoticed, she slips out of Higgins' house and seeks consolation with Higgins' mother. Higgins comes in search of her but Eliza refuses to return with him.

 

Back at home, Higgins realises that he has become accustomed to Eliza. But suddenly Eliza reappears. She has forgiven Higgins and has decided to return

We reached at 7pm to collect the tickets. The show started at 8pm and ended around 11pm.

Yuling had discount for the show before she resigned from her company. Lucky for me as she asked me whether I wanted to go. YES! OF COURSE!!

 

Did I read about the book when I was young? I think so, it was so long ago and I had forgotten about the story till I read a bit about this show.

 

We bought CAT B ticket and we watched it today at Marina Bay Sand. First time to real theatre show from Broadway! First time watched it at Marina Bay Sand theatre! Excited! I also scared that I might not understand what they were talking about and there was no subtitle for me to refer.

 

Anyway, I like the show, the cast and the orchestra!

 

 

It was full house! Checked out "The Phantom"! He was good! I find that his voice was very good! From power to soft/gentle...Nice!

 

Hmm..too bad we did not get to see the cast clearly. Their facial expression, how terrible the phantom was. Maybe checkout the website, there may be photos or clips of the show.

Been watching TVB and korean drama almost everyday.

I simply love this drama! Handsome actor and pretty actress (^-^)b
The song in the show was very nice too!

The actor in the show was so cool! Cos of some Fire accident, he lost his memory of the past. He got to know this girl who was working as stuntwoman. He started to be attracted by her.

One day, they went to Jeju and spotted this place, hmm....The father of the girl was an angel???He gave them some portion which they drank and they started to swap bodies whenever it rains.

The actress in the show was very cute too! Her father was a fireman and he actually saved the actor and sacrifice himself. The actor later recovered his memory.

I did not like it whenever they exchange bodies. A bit odd. The girl was actually boyish so when they exchange body, ie, when the girl was in the guy's body, like a bit disgusting..I still prefer the actor to be cool and man.

There's another story in the show actually that belongs to the cousin. The cousin was a singer and cos of some misunderstanding, his girlfriend did not accept his proposal and left him. The girlfriend came back as director and wanted to help him. Anyway, finally they got together!

Not sure why, watching this show reminds me of my dating time and it made me sad (!__!)

Hmm...失去了才知到当时的我是那么幸福。所以要真惜现在拥有的一切，不要等到失去了才来后愧/ 觉得当时的我是那么幸福。。应为以经回不到过去了哟。好好真惜现在所拥有的一切吧！ (=∩_∩=)

Synopsis
