1st time! 1st time watching theatre show!
Bought Decemeber rains and took a chance to experience the theatre in esplanade.
I was not disappointed!
Synopsis
《雨季》是个爱情故事，充满着无穷的欢乐和持久的痛苦。
五十年代，政治风云频频变化的新加坡；一对青春纯真的恋人，被时代的交替、社会的动乱、父母的反对和政治的婚姻，无情拆散。在两个情侣身上，痛苦并没有终止，爱的荆棘也扎在不能自拔的第三者－－一个多情传信人的心上。
八十年代，光鲜富裕的岛国上，时间和感情的雨，依然没有洗去过去的委屈和无奈的错误，继续淋湿着无辜的下一代。一切纠缠，只待那守护者的无私牺牲，以及一封仍未转交的情书的出现。然而，又有谁能知道，雨季什么时候才会真正结束……
1950s Singapore: the innocent relationship of a pair of young lovers is sabotaged by strikes organized by Chinese high school students, a marriage of convenience, strong parental disapproval; and a third party waiting desperately in vain for his unrequited love.
1980s Singapore: past grievances and mistakes continue to haunt the younger generation. Only a personal sacrifice and the revelation of an undelivered love letter holds the promise of resolution.
However, no one knows when the rain will cease in December.
I thought with the cheap ticket I bought, we will be looking at tiny tiny people moving around. However, I am wrong. Though I can't exactly see the face of the actor/actress, but it was good enough!
Well, booked the ticket with Yuling and asked for centre seats, so we were assigned to have seats together.
Hmm...wonder what's wrong with my camera..like blur??
Well, I love the songs, music, the show! I love Kit Chan! She sang beautifully! I like her since poly times but she no longer sings...
The show was quite nice with some funny character which made us laughed. Its not that bored actually and its touching too..Everyone clapped loudly at the end of the show! I believe they enjoyed it as I do!Oh ya..today is also the last day of the show!
