25 Dec 2016, Our flight was in the late afternoon around 6pm.
We would reach Changsha around 11 plus pm.

We were told that this was the worse hotel in our itinerary, however, quite acceptable.
The breakfast spread was actually not bad. Personally do not like Chinese breakfast - porridge with dishes.
26 Dec 2016 - Travelled to Phoenix Ancient Town. Took us around 5 hours to reach there.
It was tiring bus ride.

Finally we arrived at the Phoenix Ancient Town.
It was nice when the lights were up.
It was nicer than the Gubei Water Town in my previous trip.
There were more shops and street food here.
We took this boat ride. It was scary as it was very shaky. We could not move on the boat else it would shake. We have to balance the boat as well.
This was interesting. Stories about the Chinese vampire.
I watched movie on the Chinese vampire and didn't know it originated from this place.
Well, it said that long time ago many soldiers died during war and their bodies had to return to their hometown. So there was this person, taoist priest, helped to "transport" them back. ie, the dead body jumped/walked back. My impression was they jumped back. Watched too much Hong kong movie on these Chinese vampires。
