Saw this from my friend's blog.
- Today, before you say an unkind word, think of someone who can’t speak.
- Before you complain about the taste of your food, think of someone who has nothing to eat.
- Before you complain about your husband or wife, think of someone who’s crying out for a companion.
- Today, before you complain about life, think of those who may have died before their time.
- Before whining about the distance you drive, think of those who walk the same distance on foot.
- When you are tired and complain about your job, think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.
- And, when depressing thoughts seem to get you down, put a smile on your face and think: you’re alive and still around for a reason.

26 Sep 10 - Alive Gallery
Went to Alive Gallery with sis's family and mum at Downtown East. I was telling them that we might be disappointed with it. Hmm..I was reluctant to pay $16. Ok, NTUC member $13, sis can use her card to buy ticket at $13 for me. Well..she didn't know that. she booked her tickets online with additional $1 booking fee. So she bought $17 ticket for her husband, not NTUC member. Hmm..worse...MOE civil servant are allowed to purchase the ticket at $11 and max allowed to purchase for 4 person. Its even cheaper than using NTUC card.
Her ticket, $13, her husband $17, her 1 kid, $13? and mum $13? If using MOE privilege, pay only $44 but her total tickets now cost $56, $12 more. Hmm...
Went for early lunch as the gallery opened at 12 noon on Sunday. We reached there around 11am.
Took photo outside the gallery. There were many people in the queue to purchase the ticket.
Inside the gallery. Only 2 area allowed us to take photos.
Basically, it was not that fantastic. Alive?? I really thought the people in the drawing could move..hmm..well..u will see lots of projector in the gallery. Projector showing clips of how the art pieces were made?
A lot of famous art pieces and there were some description beside telling us who was in the art piece, and story of it. Eg. "Mona" means Madame..haha..at least I learnt something?
Finally, Our mona Lisa below?

Gone my Sakura trip
Got this email from Farhana on 21 Sep 10 ie Tues for the Japan flight promo on Airasia and i was waiting for it! I wanted to go japan and really waiting for cheap flight!
My alarm set at 11am, 23 Sep 10 and I am going to book my trip!
Sigh..it all happened too fast! I tried...and I chose the date depart on 17 Mar and return on 27 Mar 11. Then I went to search for Singapore to KL on the same departure and return date. All added up to SGD 378 for 2 Pax. Ok, from KL to Japan was around $260 to and fro inclusive of tax. SIN to KL was $118. I im Yuling telling her the good deal and while i was considering, someone had booked it cos when i tried booking, i was unable to book. When i chose the same dates again, the good deal was gone!
Only 1 slot for Tues, Thur and Sun from Dec to Jul 11???hmm...
Feel so sad...

19 Sep 10 - Railway visit
Went to the railway at Bukit Timah after seeing Yuling's visit.
Hmm..I told him that this railway is no longer in used.
He said no..couldn't be cos the railway was not rusty.
Ok, We were happily taking photo when he shouted "Train Coming!" Then he ran and dragged me along! We jumped off the track and zoom! the train passed by us just in split second.
That was scary!!!!!!!!
After that we did not wonder further in to the bridge area, scared another train would pass..
